Glasses repair service

This review is a long time coming and way too late! Just need to say how awesome this business is, got me out of a huge pickle a few days out from a 8 week holiday when I ran over my prescription sunnies. Andy came through big time for me and got me a new set in no time at all, just in time for the trip. Really great to have that personal understanding that makes the difference. Cheers.

Everything you could want from an optician. Truly lovely service

I recently visited Taank Optometrists to fix my broken sunglasses handle as the link had come out. They were very professional and helpful and Belinda fixed my sunglasses quickly and efficiently. She even took the time to clean it and make it more presentable. Very impressed and will use their services again!

I had one of the worst eye tests here. I got a really uncomfortable pair of glasses and I had to throw it away. This optician is not perfect for getting a safety glasses cuz you don't get a chance to try the glasses before the proscription sent to the manufacturer, which means you have no chance to they give you a completely faulty result.The prescription is not precise and the glasses make me drizzle and nauseant during the work. I even spent more money to send the glasses back to the manufacturer when they said the lenses having the right prescription. I went to the Braham opticians and they said you just need to wear that for a while. I did but the symptoms get worse and worse. I test my eyes and get new prescriptions at another optician and all problems solved. I highly doubt the professionalism of this tiny shop.Bad experience, and the optician is always persuading me to buy a pair of new glasses.I don't know who will cover my loss and the glasses I got in this shop is certainly doing harm to my eyes.

I can’t sing Aaron’s praises enough! He was super helpful, professional and excellent value. Thank you Aaron, will be using your services again. He fixed our glass double glaze door which had been the victim of the lawn mower kicking up stones.

The team came and replaced 2 large window panels that form our patio doors so we look out of them every day. What a difference!!! Not only did they clean the new ones but cleaned up the other 2!!! This morning we are looking through lovely clean glass. They are coming to do another job soon. Thoroughly recommendable.

My mother in law has been waiting weeks for her new glasses. She is 88.

Had a very complex prescription and the gentleman gave me a very good price on 2 pairs of designer glasses with MAR coating on one and transitions (the lenses go darker when exposed to sunlight) for the other. All at a great price. The depth of detail whilst dealing with me was far beyond what I have experienced at my last opticians. Will be bringing my family next time. Cannot recommend these enough. Thankyou once again.
