Alright hear me now, I’ve heard a couple things about this Turkish restaurant based on Camberwell so me and my friends decided to try it out. When we went it was raining so it was pretty quiet in there but it still had a classy vibe to it and we had the whole place to ourselves so it felt special. They service was great we were even able to get a drink that wasn’t even on the menu so happy days.Starter house breadThis bowl of bread was a great start to the meal with its special seasoning paired with a unique vinaigrette and grilled onions which ended up being cold which was a bit weird but enjoyable. The bread hot and fresh and surprisingly light, me and my friend finished the whole bowl before we got to our mains. 6.8/10Lamb shish and chicken cubes mix with rice and saladThis meal may appeal small but it ended up being quite filling. Now, this maybe due to the bowl of bread that we ate but it was a very enjoyable one nonetheless. The salad was fresh, hit with this beautiful acidity which could have Contributed to the freshness of it all. The rice was mixed with chickpeas and even though it was a very small portion in this circumstance it was enough. Both meats were seasoned very well and both succulent and not dry in the slightest which I was very pleased to see. 7.2/10Mixed pineapple and mango juiceThis wonderful mix of juices was unique as it’s not a set thing on the menu but requested and provided. It was the perfect palate cleanser from all the flavour combos going on in this meal. 10/10BaklavaGotta love when you get the complimentary baklava at the end of the meal, as you end it with something sweet, indulgent and just brilliant. Perfect size to walk out satisfied. 10/10Overall: A strong 8.5/10

Absolutely delish. Our waitress Alena was amazing. I celebrated my birthday x3 there ,yes 3 times as had 3 separate set of people. Each time my guests were happy and said that definitely will return with their friends. Food is amazing,my favourite part of the meal is flatbread with saice. I alwaya order TAVUK SIS which is chicken breast cubes marinated and grilled,served with rice and salad.

Cane here with my family today and we were seated to a table upstairs and we were given menus and we saw that nearly everything was so expensive! On the website it said they have wraps for £9.50 but on the website it was costing more and they didn't do wraps and if u wanted a wrap, it would be the same price as the food on the plate. Bit of a rip off really. I ordered a lamb cubes dish it tasted good but the lamb was so hard to cut. The starter which was bread and a sauce with onions was so delicious!! Really enjoyed that and the service was great. We got drinks straight away and we were waiting for more of my family to come and the waitors kindly waited for all of us to arrive till we ordered together.

Wednesday 19th July 5.45pm - party for 13We had a party on the top floor. Reserved in advance.For me personally I found the food a bit salty, but overall the dinner was enjoyed by everyone.I must say even the 2 kids present.The staircase going up is slightly steep but I wasn't complaining.The service was spectacular. 5* service. The atmosphere was lovely too.Thank you to the front of house and the Chefs for a great evening. Hope to visit soon.

As per the last review, Camberwell Arms ran out of food so ended up here and this was a really good find. Top notch food and service. We had a Turkish friend in the group too and she was also very impressed with the quality so win-win throughout!

Went here with friends, and we had a lovely dinner, food is so delicious, and service is very good, the restaurant is clean. Will definitely come back again!!

I really enjoyed this place, from outside it doesn't look so much like a restaurant, more like a takeaway.But as soon as you go inside it does not disappoint!Beautiful decor and a vintage staircase to the 1st floor.We celebrated our cousins 40th Birthday and the staff handled us well and we didn't wait too long considering the restaurant was packed solid!Food was nice, my Lamb Shish was a tad over cooked but I did eat it anyway.My partner had the Falafel and he said it was nice.The grilled bread that came with the meal was fantastic.Staff - exceptionalLady with short black hair was amazing I didn't catch her name!Great drinks and the atmosphere of this place is a real buzz.If in the area I'd go back x

Wonderful Turkish restaurant. Delicious traditional food. Were really surprised with their appetiser - marinated onion with fried pita bread. Never seen nothing like that before. Very warm and cozy atmosphere supported by excellent service. Definitely worth to come again and again. Thank you guys and definitely see you soon

So expensive for not so good foodThe quality is ok ish, although the lahmacun was terrible with no meat in it, and very soggy, see the pictureThe main dish took ages to arrive.We asked for the dish to come half meat and half chicken, they brought us two plates instead of one, and they didn't offer to compensate or give a discount.Not going there again.
