Jamyang Buddhist Centre is the branch of FPMT which is one of the best Tibetan Buddhism. I was lucky enough to visit centre today. The centre is warm, welcoming and full of compassion. George, was really friendly and showed me around as it was my first visit.I also had a bite in their vegetarian cafe, the food is simply amazing there, portion is good and food is well prepared, fresh and full of flavour, value for money! The most important is the centre has lot to offer, from Puja (prayer) to meditation, buddhist classes. If you are a buddhist like me, or new to Buddhism, this is definitely a goo place to visit. I hope you will enjoy your visit too. They also have accomodation £30 per night, I will recommend to my friends when they come to London. It’s always a blessing that you can stay in Temple!

Fantastic unique place to stay. It was contactless check in and I didn't really see anybody during my stay and yet was made to feel very welcome. The temple, cafe and courtyard is there if you'd like to use it but there was no pressure to do so.The rooms are extremely small as you'd imagine (they were jail cells) so try not to pack too much. There is just a small shelf and space under the bed for storage....... but there is a luxurious shared bathroom (the size of your room) and a small shared kitchen area on the landing area. Both shared with 4 to 5 rooms.During my stay the other guests were respectful no super long showers and the bathroom and kitchen were left almost as if nobody had been using them.A peaceful environment, although bring earplugs as the doors are nosiey when opening and closing and it's easy to hear other guests..... But luckily everyone is very respectful. If you want to be loud and have a party this isnt the location for you but if you want a good night's sleep, peace and tranquillity this is for you.

a lovely Buddhist centre, their bookstore and cafe are run by friendly, kind-hearted people. Relaxing atmosphere, perfect for reading a book in the courtyard

Lovely welcoming place and people. This centre really contributes very positively to the community and fellow travellers on the Eightfold path. Amazing libarary and terrace as well. Highly recommend checking out their program via the diary on the website or just popping in.

Lovely stay at the Lotus Guest House en route to and from a retreat. Quiet and funky accommodation. The rooms are small and cosy. Staff are friendly. Everything is clean and styled beautifully. Handwritten welcome card and chocolate on my pillow. The Centre was closed for August, so no puja was happening, but someone showed me round. The 196 bus stops outside, goes past Vauxhall Station, and I took a trip to Brockwell Lido before heading home. All in all, my new favourite place to stay in London. See you next August, if not before.
