SJ Pointer removed the pebble dash from the facade of my house, repointed, cleaned and repaired the brick. It looks fabulous. This is my second job with S.J. Pointer and each job has been well done. They did a great job working quickly and professionally. The crew was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them as they delivered excellent service at a good price.

What a difference! We've not had many trades people involved in our build, but where we have (after an initial false start) we've held out for the best. Szczepan and his team did an awesome job repointed the front of our 1920’s house. The brickwork was extremely dirty and spoiled by cement mortar from previous repointing work. The cleaned, refreshed brickwork and new pointing look amazing and really sets the house off!! Fantastic work by a friendly, skilled and knowledgeable team - highly recommended.

S.J.Pointer removed a double layer of pebbledash and render from my Late Victorian terraced house and can highly recommend them. The brickwork under the pebbledash had been damaged when it was put on and they did an excellent job of restoring the original features. They have expert knowledge on restoring period houses and offered us advice over the course of the project on brick restoration, mortar and pointing. We wanted to not have the old brick cut right back to give it a more natural finish and they offer a highly technical sandblasting option instead of just grinding the brick back, leaving a much more natural look and creating far less dust. They have a wide choice of mortar types / colours and finishes and use heritage techniques in the mix and colouring of the mortar. We had lime mortar with small pebbles which was the original type used with a slight yellow colour to age it slightly, pointed flush to the bricks and the results are excellent. The team was tidy and friendly and I am very happy with their work, photos below.

SJ Pointer did an exceptional job on our house in Barnes, cleaning and repointing the front facade, as well as replacing a large number of damaged bricks. The front of the house is transformed. Szczepan and his team have recently completed (April 2023) a project at my Victorian house in south-west London. The scope involved the removal of 3 coats of brick paint and raking out of the old mortar before being beautifully finished with a flush-pointed traditional lime mortarSzczepan provides a premium-level service in all respects.
