I am a student counsellor who is completing a placement at Cherry Tree. I am so pleased that took a placement here. Caroline and the team are so supportive and are particularly good at matching the right clients with the right therapists, which is so important when you are starting out. The team are always on hand to answer any queries and provide support. I have really benefited from being able to manage my client's bookings directly with them. It has really helped me build rapport with my clients and has prepared me for managing my own client work in the future. It has been particularly helpful to have gained experience face to face and online; an opportunity that not all placements provide. The therapy rooms are lovely at Cherry Tree and the whole environment is inviting and a nice team to be part of. So thank you very much for the opportunity !

I'm studying for an MA in counselling and psychotherapy and have been working on a student placement at Cherry Tree since the first year of my course. Caroline has been an incredible support during my training. Giving just the right amount of guidance and direction, while affording me the trust and autonomy to develop my own way of being as a therapist. Along with her team, Caroline has managed to create a genuinely nurturing, safe and healing space that promotes wellbeing and growth not only for the clients, but also for the therapists and staff who work there.

I study the MA Psychotherapy & Counselling at Regent's University and have been working at Cherry Tree Therapy Center for seven months as my placement. I can't speak more highly about my experience and training here. From the beginning, the application process was very quick and uncomplicated compared to my peers, who have been waiting for months for the response from their placements. I feel safe and supported with my client work. And I had some difficult cases with the need for additional care. Caroline and my supervisor were the most helpful to assess the situation and guide me through the process. At the same time, there is enough freedom and responsibility, which I think is great preparation for future private practice.Also, we have group peer supervision and an amazing network of psychotherapists and counsellors. I feel being held, supported, and welcomed to a family feel therapy centre to develop and grow.
