Elliot Claire London

I'm going to have a summer wedding this year so me and H2B are already making some of the preparations. A friend recommended me to a newly opened wedding boutique in London called Elliot Claire. I've already looked at their site and I liked what I see so off I go. Although the place is small, but their service made up for it. They handed me 3 dresses that fits my budget and my style and said they also provide customised orders.I haven't settled on a single dress yet, I'm still comparison shopping but Elliot Claire is certainy on top of my list.

I chose an off the rack" dress from Elliot Claire as my wedding dress and asked it to be made in a size 12 - it was a very simple style. When it came back from Hong Kong where it was made

I recently bought my wedding dress in Elliot Claire and was delighted with the result.I was initially rather daunted about looking for a dress as I had looked at some websites belonging to the posher" shops online and hadn't found anything at all I liked. I needn't have worried though as from the moment I entered Elliot Claire I was able to relax. The girls there were so relaxed and easy to deal with. I tried on lots of different dresses in many different styles and was assisted by the quiet unobtrusive advice from Anthea who was fantastic.I bought a lovely classic dress and ordered it to made to measure which meant that I could customise different details to make the dress unique. I would definitely recommend the made to measure service. The tailoring process was fantastic and the tailor really made the dress fit me perfectly. It arrived about 2 and a half months after I ordered it and there was about another 3 weeks for alterations. This was much faster than some of the more expensive wedding dress shops. The quality of the service from Anthea and Suzanne was second to none. They were fabulous to deal with.I was delighted with my dress on the day - it fit me perfectly and I felt fabulous in it. I would definitely recommend Elliot Claire."

Having looked at the dresses online, I liked the fact that they were different from the normal sweetheart neck, fishtail skirt that seems to be the norm for most dress shops. I booked an appointment along with an outlet shop and a traditional Bridal Shop. Elliot Claire was our last stop of the day. The entrance and stairway is a little off-putting, but inside there is a fabulous range of original dresses. I am a size 14 and none of the sample dresses fitted they are more like a 6-8 size which is a nightmare but no different to anywhere else to be honest. I found one dress that nearly fitted and decided that was the one. I wanted to change the design slightly and that was not a problem at an additional cost. It did need a lot of fittings which I think was a combination of the time of year (exceptionally busy) and the complexity of the dress. The tailor Suzanne was amazing and I really did have faith in her all the time. On my last fitting she basically fitted it to me, nothing was too much trouble. Putting on my dress on my wedding day I felt absolutely amazing it was totally my dress as we had changed the design. The comments I had were fabulous, everyone was blown away. Thank you Suzanne you are an exceptional tailor and if I ever needed a special dress again I would not hesitate to come to you. Thank you
