Essex Barbers

I thought i would try my locaI barbers as I normally travel to go to my haircut. I got a bog standard haircut that showed no skill from the barber, which spent no time or care on my hair or beard and then had the cheek to charge £28. The barber didnt even have a smile on his face throughtout the whole haircut that took less than 15 minutes including doing the beard.Utterly dissapointed. I normally go to East London and have a haircut with care and time taken at £20.i shall definitely not be returning. Complete rip off and now understand why they were empty with no customers.

I'm not one to leave a review for a barber shop but my god I received one of the worst haircuts in my life here. I asked for a skin fade but it looked more like a step cut. When I asked the barber to fade me more, he looked confused as he spoke very little English. I would highly not recommend this place, unless you want a amateur haircut.

Really nice barbers, good to be open on a Sunday aswell. Barbers well presented in appearance and shop clean and spacious. Will be going back with my other sons this weekend, good haircuts, would recommend.

I want to thank the staff at Essex barbers for being so patient and kind to my 3 year old boy! He is petrified of having his hair cut but they done such an amazing job with him will definitely be coming back ! Definitely a 5* from me

Personally been using this barber for about 5 years now. I moved out of the area and I still travel there for my haircut. I always get wet razor shave and my eyebrows done as well. I would recommend to all my friends because they are extremely friendly and make it a much more comfortable experience. Prices are competitive and offer good deals for elderly. I can see myself using this barber for many more years 10/10

They offer a cheap but not to say bad service, this is my local and normal barbers and i have never had any problems with any hair cuts i have had in the barbers. The chairs in the store are comfortable and the music tjat is on in the store has never been poor, they are friendly guys who are happy to have a chat or if you prefer to just sit there and relax whilst getting your haitlr cut that is okay with them.

I thought to come and give this barber shop a try, I wanted a skin fade and a bit taken off the top. The cut felt extremely rushed, I know it was close to closing time but a bit more attention could have been given. At the shop everything seemed to be fine but when I came home I noticed that actually on the top I had longer strands of hair left all over the place. Also my ear became inflamed towards the evening and has been quite irritated for a few days. The equipment used was probably not sterilised properly. I saw the guy use a brand new disposable razor when doing the back of my neck but thinking back on it nothing was done to sterilise the clippers before use, or maybe his hands were not clean, idk. Not very happy.

I try to avoid posting negative reviews but this could not be helped.Nice looking place and friendly staff but my god thats where is all ends. Haircuts here are terrible.Absolutely no idea what they are doing and charging high prices for low quality trims.As a standard barbers should know how to fade and blend. 2seconds into my cut the barber went way too high and thats it....i was f%!#ed!So thanks for being the reason i need to wear a hat for the next 2 weeks.Just wanted to add a big LOL to the managers response. There is no fix once youve gone and chopped a chunk of my hair off, all we can do is finish the cut unless you have 20yrs experience of growing hair (i have since noticed an entire patch that was missed so atleast I still have hair on one corner).As i stated above the staff were not rude in any way and a service (however poor) was provided so I respectfully paid and left. There is no value in returning to discuss anything because, to be honest, I wouldnt even come back for a free haircut (again i have no issue with you or your staff but I would advise anyone who is looking for a reasonable blend or fade to go elsewhere)

My son is autistic and struggles with sensory overload. We have been coming here for some months, slowly building a relationship between the barbers and ny son. The guys are very friendly, reassuring, and quick. They don't waste time. They have a lot of patience with my son and treat him fairly. I am so happy with the service as we have struggled to find a barber who can cope, let alone my son with his needs. Thank you very much is is exactly how business and people should be with those with additional needs. Much appreciated.
