These games were amazing! I played both the Capital Caper and the Star Struck Game tonight, and I had a blast with both of them. The set dressing and theatrical elements were top-notch. Myka, the Games Master, was great. I highly recommend this place!

I visited several escape rooms around the globe, and this is sadly our worst experience so far.The main reason is just that I felt not safe. This was a major concern when I visited this room together with my friend. We were shocked to find various sharp objects (knives) and even a working toaster within the room, which could cause a potential hazard to players. What is more concerning, though, is that it appeared to be no readily accessible escape route or emergency button, leaving us feeling uneasy and unsafe. In the event of an emergency, such as the game master falling ill or another unforeseen situation, we were effectively magnetically locked inside with no ways of exiting the room easily. This concern about our safety cast a shadow over the entire experience.Additionally, the malfunctioning elements of the escape room were a source of disappointment. When we entered the second room (bunk bedroom), we noticed that the third door room was already opened, thereby undermining the suspense and the immersive atmosphere of the room. We had to ask the game master to come inside and close it.Furthermore, we encountered difficulties with the last door, whichfailed to open even after we successfully completed the challenge(scanning the badge). We learned that this door would open once the master would notice us badging, and apparently he failed to do so. Those failures and the lack of a security escape route ultimately led to a frustrating experience. Finally, the uncomfortable temperature within the room made our whole experience just worse. The lack of air conditioning in the room made was really surprising, which made it difficult to focus but also led to discomfort.I was here for my birthday, which turned my experience to be really terrible. What makes matters worst is that I reported all those issues in writing to the owner email and I received no responses at all, showing the lack of care they have for their own business

Thanks David. We had a lot of fun & completed the Star Struck one in 50 mins (2 people). Special effects were great surprise. Worth the money for sure. Objective stuff: Some of the room is/props are clearly damaged from previous goers which took away a bit from the experience, could potentially be safety issue if your hand was in the wrong place on one of the interactive things. No toilet (temporarily broken) and lockers were broken apart from 1.

Disappointing for the following reasons:- very difficult to find location (it’s under a block of flats)- we were not timed- there was no typical end of game group photo- real sharp objects in rooms (knives etc) made it feel unsafe- a fault with an alarm meant we had a constant loud beeping for over 30 mins. Ears are still ringing!- WE WERE REALLY LOCKED IN. Huge fire risk!- there is no screen/speaker to communicate with the staff. Instead we had walkie talkies that didn’t work properly. I tried to leave to tell the staff we couldn’t hear them to discover we were locked in for real. Got our clues by yelling through the locked door but didn’t like the lack of safety - especially after 5 people died at a different escape room after being locked in for real when a fire broke out- no waiver. Not that I love completing them but just seems extremely unprofessional. Especially as there are a lot of risks eg moving floor, flashing lights- my friend got locked in a cupboard. No help from staff. His fault for getting in but expected during a game like this. For his sanity it would have been nice to have received help getting the door unlocked- lack of puzzles. Most tasks were to find a code and enter the code. There was no jigsaws/riddles/de coding element. Felt a bit like a childhood game of hunt the thimble!- no air con/windows. We were locked in a metal box that very quickly got far too warm

I came here in a group of five today and the experience was amazing! I was hosted by David and he did an excellent job. He was friendly, clear on instructions and praising. He made sure we were all aware of health and safety and overall made sure we had the best time. (He even offered to take a picture of me and my friends at the end!) We did the 'Capital Caper' room and it was the right amount of thriller and excitement. Do not be embarrassed to ask for hints, when my group asked David for hints he didn't give the answer straight and still made us work through the room which added to our experience. I definitely recommend this room for a group of 5 and I definitely recommend this place for birthdays or just days out. Not too expensive and is definitely a memory to be spoken about for a long time. Visit here you won't regret it!

David (one of the staff) was very kind and explained clearly what we‘ve got to do. The puzzles wer very creative and made a lot of fun. The clue is very unique and something what we never had bevor in a space themed escape room. So we can recommend the room star struck to everyone who wants an exciting futuristic Experience.

Wonderful experience! We did Capital Caper as a group and absolutely loved it, apart from the cheeky grate puzzle at the beginning. Would highly recommend to those who are up for the challenge. Huge thanks to Adam for being super helpful and being a very entertaining Game’s Master!

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Mazer. The room itself was a very fun room with varying levels of challenges and clues. Some really creative puzzles to solve, completely enjoyable from start to finish. Special thank you to our host David, really welcoming, professional and helpful. Giving full instructions before entering the room and providing a few clues for us in our escape. All in all a brilliant experience that we really enjoyed. Thank you from Simon & Chloe
