My favourite bookshop in London. By a mile. Located in a quiet pedestrianised corner in central London, it is my favourite mini oasis to escape to when I want a quiet moment, as well as find an eclectic, interesting array of books.. It's a charming little bookshop, and I think has just been given a new lease of life with its young and passionate new owner. Long may it reign!

I stumbled across this marvellous spot a few days ago. Such a treat to find a bookshop of this quality. A wonderful selection that reminded me of some of the shops of my childhood in Canada. I'll be be back again soon.

The Gilded Acorn
This place was always a gem - if a bit of a rough diamond. However, under new management and with a bit of a refurbish, the Gilded Acorn has really started to glisten. Particularly enjoyed chatting with the staff last time I was in there who found exactly what I was looking for - and an awful lot of books I would have happily taken home if it weren't for my luggage allowance! Can't wait for my next visit.
