Would recommend this place to anyone. Have never spoken to a nicer person. Was so helpful and honest on the phone. Gave me advice when he didn’t have to he could have had me take my car in and then charged me for it! Will be back with any problems in the future weeks worth of stress for something simple. Amazing company! Would give more starts if I could. I don’t often leave reviews but this needed to be done!

Shout out to Jeff Down on Aviation Way today!!My MOT had expired without me realising. I called quite a few garages first thing this morning trying to get it sorted out ASAP. After ringing through the list of local garages on Google, Most were full and couldn’t fit me in until mid next week... I called Jeff at 8.15am, I think he could hear the panic in my voice seeing as it’s my only car and he managed to squeeze me in for today. Dropped my car off at 9am, He had it done and ready by the time I’d finished work at 2.30 in time for the school run! What a service! He was kind, helpful and would definitely recommend to others and use him again! …. Thought this business deserved recognition where it’s due. Thanks again Jeff for your help today. Excellent friendly and professional service.Diagnosed and fixed a problem with my Vauxhall for a very reasonable price. Could easily have cost a lot more elsewhere.Think I’ve just found a new MOT/service garage!

I was really pleased with my service and compared to other garages I've used felt I was getting an honest deal

Took my van in and was told the EGR valve needs changing at a cost of £400. I was happy to pay because I’ve been having problems with my van and was pleased someone had found the problem.Jeff seemed very helpful and did the job. Unfortunately it did not work but it was worth a try.Imagine my surprise when two months later whilst another mechanic was working on my van (because Jeff wouldn’t answer my calls) I was told to change my EGR valve!I explained I had already had this replaced but was told it was not new!I text Jeff because he wouldn’t answer his phone and explained what had happened but he assured me he had changed the valve so I took him at his word.Then, because my van had an issue that could not be fixed I booked it in with a local Vauxhall dealer for two days and they have now changed the EGR valve because it has never been changed.I also discovered that Jeff Down is well known (not in a good way) but that is all I will say on this.I am so disappointed because I thought I had found a genuine mechanic to look after my vehicles because as a person Jeff seemed like a really nice guy.The above review is fact which I can back up with two independent mechanics and one main dealership.

After having a bad experience with a car dealership I called the garage. He fitted me in on the same day and fixed it there and then. It was 100% stress free and I couldn’t be thankful enough.

Jeff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The first time I took my car to him he Identified and rectified a problem with my Corsa that my usual garage couldn't. I have just had my second service and am again very pleased. Will definitely carry on using Jeff and would definitely recommend.
