Some time ago we accessed this wonderful site when looking for a piece of furniture to treasure. Over the coming months, renovations to our house and Covid meant that , although we knew exactly what we wanted , we couldn’t go ahead immediately. Gary was wonderful; he answered all our many questions and queries and when we decided on a bespoke piece of furniture based on a French sideboard/cupboard no longer available, he had no doubt it could be replicated. Measurements confirmed, samples of wood and staining agreed we waited in anticipation.It has arrived ! The craftsmanship is superb (thank you Colin); it is exactly what we wanted and imagined , and we would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful company. On the hunt for outdoor furniture, we researched a fair bit before we came across Country Ways and we really liked the products on their site. Our specific requirements for any furniture is always the same: no mass production and no compromise in quality or materials.The trestle table & matching benches looked perfect for our patio and after talking to Gary, we placed an order for the complete set. Gary sent a few pics of the table as it was being made; it is always nice to be able to see your actual furniture as it progresses though manufacture.Stephen the delivery driver was very professional and made sure the table was placed exactly where we wanted it. From all accounts, he'd had a terrible journey from Essex to Anglesey but he kept us updated on progress along the way.We absolutely love the table, it really is a beautiful piece and the quality oozes. We had been searching for a new outside table , something contemporary and different and found the Tenterden Curved Oak Table on their website . We discussed the options with Gary who was most obliging and gave us the confidence to order on line ( this was during lockdown). We have to say the table exceeds our expectations , it is stunning , individually made and delivery was in the time scale discussed , Gary’s customer service has been terrific. It is really refreshing to find a high quality British handcrafted product in these days of mass production.Highly recommended.

After much searching online she came across Country Ways Oak Furniture.A quick chat over the phone with Gary and we were off to visit the workshop and showroom - we wanted to see and feel the furniture ourselves. The showroom is excellent - just what you'd expect from an artisan furniture maker. Good selection of items on show and very friendly and helpful service from Gary.In the end we ordered not just the TV cabinet but a new dining table and chairs - all sized to our needs and finished in limed oak.
