A little estate of eight 'Hansel and Gretel' style Victorian Gothic cottages built in 1865.

This place it's like a fairytale location, so well maintened and quiet.

It is probably a ghost co-working space.I fully expected a pale woman looking through a window and one of my friends replying that this is Lady Margaret who died 300 years ago.My friend says she knows someone who grew up in there. She didn't mention but I am sure the person also died in there.Fun aside: Looks stunningly beautiful

Holly Village is a unique and historically significant group of Gothic Revival houses located in Highgate, North London.Brief Overview:History: Holly Village was commissioned in the 1860s by Baroness Angela Burdett-Coutts, one of the wealthiest women in England at the time. She was a philanthropist who used her fortune to fund a variety of good causes. The Village was designed by architect Henry Astley Darbishire.Architecture: Holly Village is noted for its distinct Gothic Revival style, featuring pointed arches, steep gables, and intricate stonework. Each of the houses within the village has its own unique architectural details, which makes the entire development a feast for the eyes.Today: The Village remains a private estate. The homes within are privately owned and aren't open to the public. However, one can admire the exterior of the village and its intricate architectural details from the street.Significance: Holly Village isn't just an architectural gem; it's also a testament to Victorian England's approach to housing and urban design. The development was avant-garde for its time, integrating a cohesive design philosophy with residential practicality.

Lovely but please note this is gated / closed to public so all you’ll see the beautiful entrance.
