Met couple of friends for lunch. Lovely country pub in beautiful village of Blackmore. I had ham egg and chips....was ok....plateful of chips and not like homemade ones! My son had gourmet burger. Had to pay extra £1 for slice processed cheese. He loves his food and did not enjoy burger. Probably cooked from frozen and no way gourmet. For these reasons I give 3 stars. Staff friendly...pub nice.

Stopped by here Sunday with my two dogs. Staff were really friendly and prices were good too. Thanks for the warm welcome. A great place to stop for a drink after a dog walk.

Just been here for Sunday lunch.Bar staff and the new managers were open and friendly and couldnt do enough for you.Had a fantastic Roast with all the trimmings which was not only plentiful but extremely tasty.Big shout out to the waiter whose service is spot on.I will be returning again.

Went there today for half-way walking from Mill Green to Blackmore Circular.Went in and having a pint of diet coke also the landlady is very kind and full awareness.Toilet is complete clean and spotless.Will back again.
