My wife and I recently visited for an anniversary treat.Loved the look of the restaurant, and the ambience was really inviting and relaxing.The food was absolutely heavenly. The XO butter prawns for starters were divine. We could've eaten that sauce alone. The ribeye steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. But the star of the show was definitely the Beef Ribs. Tender, fall off the bone with the right amount of char and a beautiful glaze. Pretty much perfect. (Also the sourdough bread, chips, burnt butter mash and the gooey fondant for dessert were all so delicious!)Really friendly and attentive service throughout the night, couldn't fault a single thing. Special thanks to Wokedje for looking after us and making the evening special. She went out of her way to help us with the menu and all our questions.We will definitely be back! (Especially for those ribs)

I did want to like this place, considering it's in Mayfair, I'd say the quality of the food is great, though it is very pricy for what you're eating.A lot of the seafood dishes weren't available either which I was gutted about though I had a fillet steak and it tasted burned and the chimmichuri wasn't traditional, it was more of a paste which isn't how chimmichuri should be. The fries were very nice, the garlic bread was nice, I wasn't a fan of the calamari or the mac and cheese though. My steak was a fillet so you cannot go wrong with it, but like I said it tasted way too charred for me.Service was good though and the restaurant itself had a good atmosphere.I did appreciate the kids menu too, steak and chips for £15, can't go wrong with that.I also appreciate that the meat was halal too.

Very good night out for our anniversary. Had a wonderful Anniversary meal and food was very good. What spoilt it is the waiter asking for a tip on top of the service charge which was 15% and we happily paid for.But then asking for a minimum 10% on top of the bill which was £400 for 2 people and saying that the service charge does not get paid to the waiting staff and that the restaurant keeps it really irritated me.We were in New York a couple of weeks ago and standard tip / service charge is roughly 20% and the staff in NYC don't get the wages people receive here in the UK !Sort it out Meat and Wine Co mgmt...I really don't want to have this conversation when we happily pay the service charge for a great meal.

The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant within itself was minimalistic and sophisticated .The interior was unmatchable.The staff really go above and beyond.The steak was absolutely succulent and tender.The lunch set menu will satisfy youtaste buds and is very filling.We will definitely come back soon .

Amazing place. Best steak I’ve had in the UK so far. Staff were really nice as well and the deco was really cute too. Pricey but would definitely recommend!!

My experience here was great. I had the wagyu ribeye. I thought the quality of the meat was one of the best I have ever had and the portion sizes were good . I would say the atmosphere is a bit too quiet for my liking. As expected due to the location the pricing is steep, would recommend for a special occasion.

One of the best restaurants you will find in Mayfair. The food is top notch; hands down one of the best I had in a while.. Great aesthetic and patterns; it looks very modern with an Afrocentric touch!Our waiter Ola was wonderful, she genuinely cared about our experience and everything she recommended was amazingly good! She knew so much about the food and the history of the restaurant it was impressive. I think she deserves a Raise!Overall lavish experience; if I could give more stars I would :)

Wow, this was probably the best steak we’ve ever had! It melted in my mouth. Highly recommend trying the scallops also. Our waiter, Ron was simply amazing. We will be coming back.

My husband took me for my birthday last Sunday and I had a wonderful time. The customer service was excellent. We were served by Ron who who made the experience very beautiful and will definitely be returning. The vibe was very nice. The food was also very good worth the money. We got the wagyu rump and the European rib eye. The cream and mushroom sauce is delicious. Although I would liked a bit more salt but that’s preferential.

Fantastic food! We had the lamb skewer, a rump steak and a butter-aged steak with bone marrow butter which was velvety heaven. The wedge salad was really good and the mac and cheese was excellent. The service was a little slow, but the food was well worth the wait. Will be going again to try more of the menu.
