What a perfect shop. Was trawling the internet for what I needed found this shop. So much knowledge regarding tortoises and other reptiles could not have been more helpful. So glad I found them even done me drawings. Thank you.

Great place lots of variety and really professional staff, advised us well.

I love this place the pets are healthy especially tortoises.But the horse fieldones used to be £99 now they are £149 why such a difference after a few months.I Hope it goes on sale.

Wanted to shop local instead of the big chain stores, brought my son his hamster and some bits....shame the middle aged brunette lady that served us was stroppy, rude and not very helpful!!! Happy Sunday

Polite staff know their stuff on all animals stocked mice ferrets more small furry animal's bird and cages all the stuff you need to look after your pets properly all cages clean no smells perfect.

A very mixed experience. Bought a June/2020 Hermann's tort, delivered healthy and a decent weight, though the care sheet contained lots of info that is dangerous for Hermann's (more on that later).I can’t give a 5 star review as there are a few catches when buying from this store. These may be captive bred but they are definitely not of UK origin. Our one was a Serbian import (as stated on certificate) so these little guys are from international tortoise farms. Our one is from zoological international" a breeder that has a lot of controversy surrounding the way they treat/transport tortoises on a massive scale.The care guide (attached in image) listed foods that are harmful to Hermann's tortoises

Fantastic shop and we love our healthy, baby Horsefield. Ignore any negative comments. They can only give so much advice, and I personally think if you can't do your own research, then don't buy one. Its your responsibility to make sure you know how to care and feed your Tortoise. They give you a care sheet with basic instructions like any pet store. You should then learn how to take care for your animal with diet ect! Each Tortoise may differ from the next. Overall really happy with my Horsefield and starter kit. Lots of conflicting stories about Vivariums and some of the top breeders use them, so don't be worrying if you have one. Mine loves it. Thank you Tortoise centre. You have made a family very happy.

Love this place.Only been once but would love to go back.One gentleman in particular is very knowledgeable in his field (tortoises) he gave us lots of help and advice and encouragement when trying to find our perfect pet.All facilities look to be kept clean and tidy. All animals fed and watered well. Even had a bird room which was a surprise.

Just collected our little Hermann tortoise. Everyone was very friendly. I was encouraged to ask questions. I was given verbal and written advice about tortoise care.

Ordered a baby sulcata tortoise and it's super healthy and was packaged really well, would definitely recommend, I am very greatfull for the care taken with the tortoise
