City & Hackney Mental Health Crisis Line | East London NHS Foundation Trust | ELFT & Mind have joined forces to launch services available 24 hours a day. The new services will offer immediate support to people in crisis but also follow up with a range of interventions to help individuals develop ways to cope with difficulties.

First person I spoke to was lovely and credit to the team. Second one was dismissive and overstepped the line. I expressed genuine concern about how I’ll handle the cost of living and he just told me to move house then when he found out I was single said “don’t rush into anything now. Hm? HM? Yes Joshua?” Absolutely inappropriate. Very disappointed in this service.

Rude staff who speak over you and scold you for being sad and in crisis. Now I feel more suicidal. Avoid them, anything is better than reaching out, anything.
