The Porterbrook is more than you could ever want or need for a loved one.Let me tell you why the Porterbrook sets the standards for care.The home is managed by a highly experienced, truly dedicated, trustworthy, passionate and caring nurse that puts everyone in the building before herself, in a way that really shows! And that standard is maintained through every member of the team in ways that you'd need to be a fly on the wall to understand. (they don't have them by the way)The care team give more than their souls to make sure that the residents are looked after physically and mentally. Each resident gets their own personal centred care that shows they are understood and respected to the highest standards.The food is sublime! not your every day cheap processed meats and veg just thrown on a plate that you dread the thought of.a dedicated, passionate chef and kitchen team make sure that each person has the presentation, nutritional requirements and personal favourites that you know your loved one would water at the mouth for. (Gordon...step aside)They're engaged (no, they're not marrying eachother) but, the activities, events and themes that are on offer every day of the year and the way that they're focused to be inclusive, fun and interesting is something that the rest of the industry really lacks on.I highly recommend this home and the team to everyone who has come to the unfortunate decision that we all dread having to make for our loved ones.

Very clean and well presented homes for the elderly.

This is a lovely day support centre, my elderly mum who struggles with dementia goes here and she absolutely loves it. She has really settled in quickly and comes home with a smile on her face everyday. Sam, Anita and all the team are amazing. Thank you!
