Definitely worth a visit if your heading to Newcastle! the penny pushers all give out tickets and then you can exchange these for small toys etc, also there is public toilets and other activities behind this place so definitely handy if you have kids

Lovely pier with gorgeous views shame everything was shut other than the small amusement at the beginning of the pier. Entry is free is winter but charges in the summer times.

Great place to take the kids. And what wonderful view when your sitting in the pool ovelooking the ocean. I love the fact that you can take your drinks with you in the pool too. Plenty of fun for the kids with we've pool, water slides and play area. Life guard are very much attention to details and you feel safe knowing they are keeping a watchful eye on everyone. Parking is easy with a big car park out the front but you do have to pay. If you go in the evening you can stay in the pool a long as you like.

Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach
Really enjoyed the trip here, reasonable prices and a good selection of rides for the size of the park.Really liked that the kids could get wristbands while us adults could just get cards and pay for what we wanted. The only thing it needs is a covered area for us adults to sit down and have a brew while the kids crack on.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
It's a small theme park with 100 years old roller coaster, which is really amazing. It is the best attraction for the young crowds to have fun here. There are entry fees for it, and you can have full day fun if you are looking for a theme park but not a grand one.Opposite to it is a very peaceful beach with benches provided to sit and relax. If you are at this very place in early hours, you can relax yourself with the melodious wave sounds.

Twinlakes Park
A few weeks ago, we came to Twin Lakes on a whim and ended up only spending £40 between the three of us for tickets. There are so many things to do for children here - there is a farm yard for animals, plenty of rides and amusements, a water park, a boating lake and more.My niece had the time of her life. She kept saying “can we come tomorrow?”.I will definitely be coming back next year/ when weather permits - with my best friend and her children plus my niece. An added bonus is that a lot of people bring their own food in, so it’s not necessary for you to spend excessive amounts to ensure your child has a good time.
