Duty Free Shop

Buyers Beware...UK has one of the highest taxation in the world. We should be saving a lot more when purchasing duty free....however found that a lot of the items on sale here you could buy in sales and on offer from high street retailers cheaper. World Duty Free not as good as what it was many years ago. Don't waste you time or money

Good selection of products ...helpful staff

Good prices, many options, friendly staffs, nothing to complain at all.

Found everything I needed.

The usual duty free shopping mall" of airports from all around the world. It has all the usual wares from liquor - including a very decent number of good gins - parfymes

The staff are so RUDE. I went to buy 2 different items and one was a purchase for my mum so it had to be on a separate credit card. A member of staff came and stood directly beside me, literally a couple inches from me, breathing down my neck. It was very apparent she had just looked at me only scanning one item at a time (as I was using 2 different cards to complete the transaction) and for whatever reason assumed I was stealing. Once she saw me begin to pay for the item she took it to bag it etc. but then it came up saying domestic flight. She turns to me in the same hostile aggressive manner as she had had from the beginning, gives me a dirty look and goes “you can’t purchase this.” I was taken aback as I wasn’t sure why and her tone was like I’d done something horribly wrong. I calmly asked “oh…why?” Because at this point I didn’t know if it was because of me or something. Then she began to explain there was a rule about it. I said “oh okay” I didn’t care as it wasn’t a big deal and not her fault. But at this point she went nuts going on a rant about how it’s a rule and that she can’t do anything about it and its the same for everyone and can’t just be different for me. I had to be like okay, Again, I had said okay??? I didn’t care, I was just confused why and asking. And then after her long outburst telling me off for her own presumptions she said “oh just a lot of people just really annoyed about that”. But I wasn’t, so I’d just received a whole bunch of abuse from staff for literally no reason. She then proceeded to go join her other 2 coworkers and stand in a huddle beside the till and all 3 stood giving me dirty looks until I left the store. Honestly felt like I was in mean girls.

Exceptional staff with all the help you could need. I couldn't think of any improvements as ever need was met plus more.

Staff are always welcoming when I pop in at work and give the best advice on fragrances.

Lovely, no doubt

I travelled 3rd September. In duty free the perfume I was buying was not marked up properly. I thought it was less than what was showing on the till. A genuinely nice man checked the price, he could tell from my face I didn't want to pay over £100. Anyway I did and he said stay there, he came back with a makeup bag and a free perfume sample. No judgement from him just excellent service. THANK YOU . You have no idea how much this made my day. PS I was gutted to find his name was not on the receipt but he knows who he is .
