Lion Exhibition Services Ltd
I worked with Andy and the team at Lion Exhibitions for a large exhibition at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference in Birmingham in March 2022. They were brilliant - helpful, creative, responsive and nothing was too much trouble to facilitate. I would happy recommend to anyone looking for exhibition services. thank you!

Áras Uí Chonghaile James Connolly Visitor Centre
Excellent, bilingual exhibitions with self-guided audio tour, detailing James Connolly's life from its beginnings in Scotland to his execution in Dublin in 1916. Nice cafe and good library collection too. Free entry to Belfast residents and a discount for trade union members. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Could easily spend all day in here (i often have!).

ART @ MG - Mardleybury Gallery
The tea room is lovely however the cake was a bit dry and too sweet. They didn't serve anything other than cake, unless you had the afternoon tea, in which case they served a few sandwiches. I would have preferred to have more of a choice and a selection of sandwiches on offer at all times. It was a nice location.

ART @ MG - Mardleybury Gallery
Lovely gallery with talented and knowledgeable people happy to chat or just let you browse, lots of varied forms of art and price range but you feel very welcome to just look around and enjoy. Cosy coffee shop just next door too!

CONKERS
For the price this is a really good day outThe addition of the splash pad is great fun for kids...take spare clothes! There is pond fishing, magic show, and my kids loved taking their shoes off and paddling through the mucky water trail! The park is good and there is plenty to do for free.Take a towel with you.Downsides...cafes lack choice, main one wasnt open which served pizza so we eneded up with hot dogs. 4D cinema wasnt 4D and told afterwards the projector wasnt working. Inside there is lots that is broken and needs repair which is a shame. Its a full day out though come rain or shine and gives kids a sense of being with nature amd doing what kids do Best getting mucky and using their imagination. Doesnt get too busy. The little train to the park and magic show is a real treat amd saves the legs!

Westpoint Arena
Attend Westpoint Arena every year for BHP Fuel Fest. Facilities inside are fine. Big arena for the car show to take place and big area for drifting outside. The traffic control at this site is also worth mentioning - always really efficient and never have to wait long to enter and exit.

Loch Ness Centre
For some reason we thought the Lockness Centre would be on the Loch shore, but no its on the main road and on the opposite side to the Loch itself. It's really a hotel housing the centre, we thought it too expensive to enter and so visited the gift shop on site and bought a book about the mythology instead.
