I recently contacted Alison after years of struggling with adult acne and scarring. She was so helpful and informative from the first reply! I sent across some photos of my skin and she explained my treatment options, answering any questions I had.Alison has a smart and professional website with clear information and an online booking system which is so easy to use. Once I had made my booking, I received an email with a link to an online consultation form and advice on what to avoid prior to my treatment. This was all very reassuring and I could see already she puts a lot of care and thought into her business and clients.I went this afternoon for my treatment which was a Chemical Peel Facial. I was greeted by a very smiley and friendly Alison who led me into the treatment area for a thorough consultation. The clinic was modern and most importantly, pristine.We went over my skincare concerns, with Alison asking questions and listening carefully to get a good understanding. She talked me through what we would be doing during my treatment which really helped put me at ease as I had never had an advanced facial treatment before.I now know that a Chemical Peel Facial is quite an uncomfortable experience with some short term pain (which is not surprising when you consider what the process actually does!) however, I trust Alison completely and she continued to talk to me the whole time, reassuring me at each step.Alison gave me written aftercare instructions and also talked me through them before I left. She told me what to expect in terms of reactions in the coming days and how to manage them.She also expressed how important it was to use the correct products at home and when I asked what she would recommend, she had good product knowledge and helped me to make an informed decision.I am so glad I found Alison and I am looking forward to my skincare journey with her, especially since I now have hope of improving my skin which is something that has knocked my confidence for such a long time.Thank you Ali x
