I was helped by Dr Reguna today and I was in very very good hands. Not only did he help me with the problem I was misdiagnosed by another doctor for days earlier but I would also like to mention how professional he was, how well and fast he handled the things he had to deal with but also how cared for I felt. I wish I could have him as my GP

The treatment I’ve received in Cardiology has been fantastic. From the initial diagnosis they were really thorough and helpful. My procedure was carried out by Dr Blaxill and his amazing team and although it became more complex than expected I was constantly reassured and made to feel as comfortable as possible at all times during what I found to be a very frightening time. The aftercare on ward L14 has been wonderful. The nursing, caring and catering staff are friendly, caring and have a great senses of humour - shout out to Michelle and Joy!. Nothing has been too much trouble for any of them and I’m so relieved that I’ve been able to have my op here. Despite all the cuts and low morale we hear about, you’d never believe it as a patient here. I’m so grateful for the care I’ve been given and the NHS should be so proud of this hospital. Thank you! X

St Mary's Hospital
I went in for a surgical abortion on Thursday. My appointment was for 7:30 arrived on time. The nurse who was supposed to register us didn’t come till 8:00 am. I was given two pills to insert to open up the cervix. After two hours I’ve experienced extreme pain ( guess labor started). I was actually shaking , cold and almost vomiting. The nurses did not attend to me whatsoever. I asked if I can have a pain killer to reduce the pain. The nurse than said she will ask a supervisor come back to me. I was clearly in pain. Crying and moaning but nobody was consulting or trying to help me. Well 10 minutes after I literally gave birth to my fetus. The nurse came and took a look under my robe and said:,, oh well did something come out? Yeah that happens. They let me sit there for another 20 minutes with my baby between my legs and other things coming out till I got escorted to the operation room. It was the most traumatic experience in my life so far.

Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust
After being told by ormskirk our little boy had a broken elbow we were sent ther for a cast a week later after swelling went down. We were told by the doctor who seen us on the visit that our 5yr old (he’s 3) didn’t have a break and refused a cast and X-ray until it got a bit heated. He eventually gave in. 3 weeks later after cast was removed, he said how well the break had healed and he was happy with. He was challenged about his earlier diagnosis and refused it was him who said he didn’t have a broken arm and that he didn’t refuse an X-ray or cast. No care given as doctors are always right. Also had X-ray department crating my boys wrist. Didn’t catch his name but he’s a shocking doctor

I can see how people had bad experiences but personally. 9 out of 10 nurses have ne nothing but brilliant with ne. The surgeons are 1st class aswell. Only think I will say is the pharmacy takes way too long sending prescriptions to the ward. I been waiting up to 8 hours at times

Seacroft Hospital
As a ‘walk- in’ hospital- fairly organised. X- rays efficiently carried out- nurse a little patronising. However why does it take 2 weeks to provide the results to my GP?

Lurgan Hospital
My Mum stayed in Lurgan recently before moving to a nursing home. The staff in Lurgan Hospital went above and beyond to help both her and the family. We spoke to more medical staff in a week than we did in previous hospital visits. Everyone had time to listen and help. Thank you so much for your care and consideration.

Dewsbury and District Hospital
Disgusted how the member of staff spoke on the phone regarding changing an appointment. People are coming to the hospital seeking help with their problems - not to have receptionists to be awkward and unprofessional. Very poor service!
