Lost property office

I left my iPad in the security hall, north terminal, yesterday morning and I am getting it back this afternoon. A big thank you to everyone involved for the efficient and helpful service I received.

My husband lost his wallet in security. We realised it had gone at the departure gate. Rang through to security. It had been passed to lost property. Too late to fetch so flew on hols Arrived back in middle of night. LPO closed. I sent SAE for return no reply. My son emailed with details. They can’t find it. So where is it ? It was confirmed passed to them be security. Good job we cancelled his credit card They’re welcome to the £30 whoever has it. People beware don’t lose your stuff you’ll never see it again

No problems at all, location is convenient at train station exit towards scott monument, they scan your luggage, prices where around £7.5 for 3h, opened til 6pm.

Once I realised my iPad was gone, I contacted BA immediately, but they kept asking me to pick it up in person. After a long discussion, they allowed me to arrange a courier for pick up, but I failed because of many tricky things. Luckily, I tried to search for a lost and found courier"

I left my keys at security when leaving the UK. These guys had them bagged up and kept safe. They were super friendly too, I was really surprised to get my keys back!

They haven’t posted any lost property in 3 weeks. I feel like some people might’ve lost some items since then

Having picked up my lost rucksack containing my laptop and numerous other, not valuable, but irreplaceable items I am obviously pleased but I was actually really impressed with the service. The day I left my bag on a train, I emailed and received a prompt response. I went to Waterloo, where the train was heading and was advised to try the ticket office because that would be the first port of call for a lost item. No luck there but, reassuringly, they had been contacted by Lost Property about my lost item. I subsequently emailed LP on a fairly regular basis and always had a response. They explained that it could take a little while if it was retrieved at another station. After nearly a week I received an email telling me my bag was in lost property so I went to collect it. All contents were intact.
