Motorcycle breaker and dismantler

I ordered an engine head and pistons for an out-of-production Honda. Received an entire set in excellent shape for a great price, seller instantly shipped abroad too. Very happy camper. Strongly recommend. Will order more parts.

Wouldn't even ring these guys, let alone give them my custom, simply rang up to inquire about a part and received a blunt attitude and a quick end to the phone call, the reason being is because I have a Chinese bike.*Edit response to reply* It wasn't the fact you were unable help me, it was the attitude and the manner in which I was spoken too which was the problem, it was rude and unprofessional.

I needed a starter motor for my GSF 650 K8 (bandit) which is water cooled. It's a hard to find part, even new, and the starter motor is different to the K7 and other earlier models. The chap on the phone assured me that they had the correct part, and I checked a few times that it was definitely from a water cooled bandit, the K8 and not the earlier oil or air cooled models. I paid for the part and it arrived promptly. Good.The part was, unfortunately from an earlier oil cooled machine, and did not fit. Not good. I'm unsure how a mistake like this could occur, as they should surely know the origin of parts!I called them up, and they asked me to send it back for a refund. No quibble, no messing around, seemed straightforward. Good.I couriered the part to them, tracked, and when it arrived, I phoned to confirm. They acknowledged receipt and said I should be refunded straight away. Good.Checked my bank account a few days later - no refund. Not good.Phoned a few days later, they apologised, and promised to rectify immediately. Checked my bank account every day for a few days, nothing. Not good.Final call was 10 days after the part arrived back with them. The chap on the phone was apologetic, and promised to process the refund immediately.I'm now waiting for the money to arrive in my account - over £100 inc. postage & VAT! Fingers crossed this time.Update to add that the money did arrive, and they refunded my original postage too.I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt here, and update to 3 stars.

I bought two rear doors for my Renault Master from YVB and was very pleased with them.They were well packaged and delivered to Glasgow in great condition for used parts.The fact they were an identical colour match saved money on painting.I would recommend Yorkshire Van Breakers.

Staff were extremely rude to me when i called up and asked them how long it would take to fix my bike i had already sent in, they couldnt seem to remember me or seem to be able to find it and absolutely adamant they did not have it until i threatened to call the police and suddenly its fixed and ready to goDisgusting!!!

I bought an Engine from Cheshire Bike Breakers. They told me it was a runner and had done 21000 miles. They were very helpful when I went to collect and even gave me a hand getting it loaded in the car.Anyway…. Long story short I fitted the engine to replace my 135000 miler and it started on the button.I was very pleased with that.

Dealt with Jake; friendly helpful and responsive. Bought a Suzuki Address. Amazing condition and price and they delivered it for me too. Very pleased all round and cannot believe how mint the bike is. Will be going back once I pass my test and am ready to move to a bigger bike. Thanks
