National Trust - Harting Down
Perfect outdoor space for anything and everyone. There is plenty of different routes and paths to take to go more than once and enjoy it each time. There is different routes for different capabilities. Most of all the views are spectacular wherever you are. Must go.

Good place for nature lovers with all the different birds that visit.Kids can have a run about and there are plenty of benches for the weiry walker.There a few information boards about what you could see at the reserve.

Wonderful place to walk, start at Meanwood park and end at the small Whale.Ok it's just a rock but open your eyes and see, nature beats intercity every time

Pleasley Pit Country Park & Local Nature Reserve
Lovely place to visit whether it's with others using the cafe or just to reflect on one of the benches dotted about. Could use a few more dog poo bins but understand that the council would struggle to access/keep on top of up keep of them but currently just those in/next to the car park . There are a few nature groups around to join plus some fb groups, look out for the fayre's that will now take place and hopefully the beer/cider festival next year ! Great mining history museum to visit while grabbing a cuppa and a cake.

Great little Woods.Could do with a bit of a tidy up though and maybe even some of the grass at the end turned into a dog park for locals to take their dog and allow it of lead of its safe with other dogs
