Mountfitchet Castle & Norman Village
Parking is free on Sunday and Holidays ( check picture with prices and park on the bottom with sign for long stay ). Brilliant for spending family day out, especially with a lot of friendly animals around you there ( when you buy tickets, buy the food there too, so you can feed them). A lot of history and reconstruction so interesting and for everyone something there, including toy House museum next to the village and dinosaur Park ( kids just loved it). Maybe it looks that all those can't work together, but for kids, that is a brilliant idea to mix all together. At the end, you can have your family picking and relax, but you can buy food and drinks there too If you didn't brought your own. Recommended and enjoy your day!

Fantastic place to visit 10 out of 10!!!Visited the Repair Shop Barn. (You can look in through the doors when they aren't filming).Well set out. Friendly volunteers on site. We watched different activities that were going on.. Good cafe. Lovely cup of latte. We enjoyed it so much that we brought membership tickets. We will be back.

Hardy's Animal Farm
A great day out had by all! Plenty for all the kids to see and do over the age range of 2-4 years old. They loved feeding the animals, tractor rides and taking part in the daily activities. The staff are friendly and are happy to support and help where they can. They have good knowledge and enjoy their jobs. There is a large soft play if you want to get lunch or a drink and sit while the kids play. They food was good and reasonably priced. This is our third visit and I am sure we will be back again!

Si comme moi vous aimez le street art, foncez. Ce quartier est certes un peu délabré mais il contraste avec les couleurs de graph qui apportent vraiment quelque chose à cet endroit.Pour les photos c’est l’idéal.Allez vous balader.

If I could give 6 stars it wouldn't be enough. This museum is more than just an attraction..It's a labour of love for many enthusiasts that make you feel so welcome coming into their domain. We were lucky enough to come when there was a steam festival. You can smell the history. What a place!

Over the past three years or more, we've been frequenting Avoncroft Museum, primarily during their themed weekend events. The wealth of interest and charm it offers keeps drawing us back, and we make it a point to attend whenever they host these events.
