Sefton Park, Liverpool L17
Sefton Park in Liverpool is arguably the best known and most loved by locals. Classified as a Grade One listed park by English Heritage, the magnificent 200-acre Park looks like a natural landscape rather than a man-made park. In spring the sight of millions of golden daffodils around the lake draws residents from across the city and carpets of bluebells give an impression of rural permanence. The park features many distinctive curved paths and driveways and beech and other indigenous British trees abound. Amongst the park's many features are a boating lake, replica statues of Eros and Peter Pan and a café. The park is also home to the famous Palm House, a fabulous glass-panelled building that has been restored to its former glory.

Sefton Park
Lovely park to walk around. There is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy whatever they want to do, walk, cycle jog or general exercises. It is dog friendly and has two café. The lake has a path all around it, and has plenty of wild birds on it.The park is steeped in history. It has a Palm House which can be booked for weddings or other functions. This time of the year the trees have their autumn colour's and look spectacular.

Ardverikie Estate
The Estate was more like a modern house than a building from the 1870s. Also, from the entrance, it's a 2.5 mile walk to the actual estate. You can't go inside the estate, or close to it as that part of the estate is private property. The walk to the house is scenic and a beach is near the entrance of the estate grounds.

Central Park
This is a nicely kept park that has a cafe, children's play area, football pitches, kids play area, slides tennis courts, and a cafe- and memorials all set within a mature well kept park. It's not anywhere near the biggest but it's a nice place to be.

Very pleasant place to be, specially along the lake fishing and having a quiet peaceful time,, but the park toilets need maintenance

Wormholt Park
Nice park and the employees closing the park are also friendly. Unfortunately the table tennis table is often a victim of mindless vandalism. When will the table tennis table be back in playing condition?

Wormholt Park
Not the most exciting park - but It's local and a good place to sunbathe. It has a nice playground for young children, a quiet garden in which to sit and read and a couple of ball courts.

Small, mostly well kept and nice local park. Less anti social recently.
