I play for a living and recently moved here from the States, so finding a trustworthy and skilled luthier was of utmost importance--Ian is without a doubt both! He performed flawless fret work on my 1935 Gibson L-00. I was thoroughly impressed with his attention to detail regarding the work as well as his personable approach to me as a client. I will definitely be taking my other instruments to him when the time comes! Go to him, you will not regret it!

Great service. Responded quickly on WhatsApp (very convenient) and answered any questions I had. Managed to fit me in within a week or two and done a great job setting up my acoustic which had become a bit difficult to play and had intonation issues. Mark's work was superb, the difference surprised me! It's now much easier to play across the fretboard and the intonation issues are gone. It also seems to sound clearer and with better sustain. I'm very happy with the work Mark has done and I will definitely be back. Mark's also a really nice guy so there's nothing to fault.

I had damage to the side of my Martin acoustic, fearing the worse I expected a tough repair and permanent sign of damage post repair. I was recommended Noden through a friend and today received back my acoustic after a couple of weeks.What can i say, there is hardly any sign of repair on the damaged area, indicating a high degree of skill and craftsmanship. The price was extremely reasonable as well and I am extremely happy with the service. Would recommend to anyone without a doubt.

Highly recommended! I came to John to repair the neck of a guitar I’d damaged - he took the time, care and attention to ensure it was repaired to the highest possible standard. Also did the fret dressing of an old guitar to make it delightfully playable again. A skilled craftsman and a top bloke.

I had my baby Taylor serviced and set up by Josh around 3 years ago, although it was some time ago I still remember feeling the immediate difference of a proper set up.I am only a casual player but the investment in a set up and service is one I'd highly recommend to anyone, especially through Hatters instruments!
