Brean Beach
Lovely experience, kids loved it but I wished we brought the dog along. The beach itself is dog friendly and parking was reasonable with no wait time. We arrived about 2pm due to traffic so we worried about overcrowding and parking but we were pleasantly surprised or I guess we were just super lucky ha!. The beach is clean with toilet and cafe facilities nearby. We forgot our pales but the lady at the shop was happy for the kids to borrow some pales and buckets. Lovely experience if we didn't live so far I would have loved to stay a little longer. Would recommend. Pleasant scenery and lots of trails for walking/hiking.

Kedermister Park
Large open space park. Good for walks, jogs. No much activity going on. Lots of trash around. Alcohol bottles everywhere. Park users please help to keep this beautiful park clean.

The Grove
Well-used and loved park which we used to go to daily when we lived there.Great to see they have updated the miniature golf. The park has everything you need for a nice afternoon out: playground, caged ball sport arena, mini golf, plenty of green space, ponds.Negatives: noticed there were a few play area items removed and they were some old-looking equipment. It's very popular so you will need to keep your eyes peeled for your kids. The toilets were also not open.

The Witham
An absolute gem of a venue. From the minute you walk in to the little bar/cafe area the volunteer staff are brilliant. They really look after you. This is our 4th visit to this venue and don't have any major complaints. The one downside if I dare say it, is that it gets very warm in the Sumner months. As I say, this is a minor drawback on this lovely place.Price wise in the cafe/bar are very reasonable. We had a bottle of prosecco at only £20 which is very good in our books.

Westgate Gardens
Absolutely stunning garden!! It does get crowded but you can relax here and see beautiful flowers, architecture and a lovely little river. I spent way longer here than I had anticipated and loved every minute. Must see if you're in Canterbury!

The Minster Church of St George, Doncaster
This was the first time I have been inside. I was stunned by how besutiful it was, tho you cannot take photos inside. I sat at the back and listened to the service. I was invited to join in. At the end I asked lots of questions and they were so kind to me
