All the animals are lovely but special shout out to Rebel the Raven! Lots to see and learn about, and the volunteers are all so friendly. Only cost us £5 each and honestly its well worth the money. Will be visiting again!

Wingham Wildlife Park
Recently went to Wingham for a Red Panda experience that was I was given as a birthday present. The very knowledgeable and friendly keeper Toby allowed me to meet Mai and Kai and I was able to feed them some of their favourite foods which was amazing, and Toby's talk was incredibly informative and really interesting. I absolutely loved the experience and you could tell that Toby really cares for Mai and Kai. Would highly recommend the experience to anyone of all ages - it's not just for children! We've been to Wingham several times over the years and it keeps getting better and better. They are continuously making improvements to the enclosures and the facilities, the staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly, and you can tell they really care about the animals. We had a brilliant time, thank you!

Alver Valley
A large area of river, woods, hills and lakes of which one is a fishing lake. Plenty of birds and water fowl to see and lively views around the area. Lots of people go there to walk their dogs and exercise

Essex Wildlife Trust, Bedfords Park Nature Discovery Centre
Great park. Probably the best in the area to be honest. Long walks, great views and a real sense of being away from it all... even though it’s only 5 minutes away from the outskirts of Romford.Oh, plus the deer compound and the secret walled garden. Just to add to the allure!!!Update... they now have some new play equipment near the main car park.Fantastic!

Beautiful, just a lovely little oasis next to a Swindon industrial estate and the M4 motorway! Sounds horrible, but it's great for a little nature hit...

Very lovely place with friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Alan on the boat ride was very informative. Strongly advise wellies for kids as they love splashing through the puddles and shallow water. Great play area and many activities throughout the year to get involved in.

Lovely family run business with loads of animals to see. Really good entrance fee, they also serve food and drink. The owner Dean was really friendly. Definitely would return
